Baldur is a fourgaited and an excellent potential for competition horse for all experience levels of riders. He has good walk, trot, tölt and canter. He is very calm and easy to handle, with superb temperament. Very good looking horse.

Baldur was raised at the horse-breeding farm Hemla in South-Iceland. He has always been trained by professionals: 

• When turning 4 years old in January 2014, he was started in training at the University of Hólar in North-Iceland by one of the students Hanna Rún Ingibergsdóttir. Baldur trained for 6 weeks and "graduated" with 9,6 out of 10.
• He got a break after Hólar, but continued his training by Sonja Noack in spring 2014
• In the fall 2014 he was in training by Hallgrímur Birkisson
• In 2015 he was in training by Sævar Haraldsson and by Eysteinn Leifsson in Mosfellsbær

Father: his father is Klængur frá Skálakoti. He has in breeding evaluation scored in total: 8.38 fourgaited. For riding abilities he scored 6 times 9.0 (tölt, trot, canter, temperament, form under rider and slow canter). For confirmation he scored 8.39. He has also been a successful competition horse in tölt, fourgait and B-flokkur, both in adult class and with a young rider. 

Mother: his mother Iðunn frá Miðey has given us great quality horses, including 1 older brothers can be seen on this page (Þór frá Hemlu) and both have excellent temperament and high movements. Iðunn was shown in breeding show, but as she decided by herself to start breeding at early age (got pregnant 1 years old and suddenly gave birth to a foal at age of 2 years) she never developed properly.  Iðunn was fivegaited with good movements and excellent temperament.
