Núpur is a great looking gelding with very high movements, good neck and mane/tail. He was trained lightly every year until 2014 and therefore has limited competition experience. 2014 he was trained by Sonja Noack, who has also competed on Núpur with good result. This winter and spring he was in training by a young rider Ásta Margrét Jónsdóttir who is competiting with him with excellent result and  was in A-finals in fourgait at most competitions this year. They were in 1st place before finals (withdrawn) in Fourgait young riders with 6,37 at the WR event at Hörður in May 2015.

He is easy to ride and has been used in competition by a young rider. 

Núpur is a fourgaited horse with excellent gaits (scores are from spring 2015, but he is still improving all gaits):

• Trot is with long extended movements (has been getting 7,5 in V1 fourgait)
• Tölt is very clear with high movements (has been getting 7,0 in T1, T3 and V1)
• Slow tölt is with high movements and clear beat (has been getting 6,5 in T1, T3 and V1)
• Canter is very good with high movements (has been getting 7,0 in V1) 
• Walk is with rather short steps, even though he is relaxed in walk (he has been getting 5,5 in V1)

His movements are very high and impressive. A true show horse. 

Núpur is now in training in Mosfellsbær with Eysteinn Leifsson and can be tried there.
