Prins frá Vatnsleysa is with very interesting pedigree,  with strong Kolkuós bloodline.

Prins has very good temperament and is easy to ride. He is fivegaited and has clear, good gaits with high movements. He will have good speed in trot and tölt, but he is still maturing and improving his balance.

Before he was castrated in 2016, he was serving mares in 2013 and 2014 in West-Iceland. All 15 mares were Kolkuós bloodlines mares, so the owners are aiming to continue with Kolkuós bloodlines, by using Prins.

Mother: Prins is the last offspring of the 1.prize mare (8,26 for riding abilities)  Drottning frá Vatnsleysa. Drottning was a daughter of Yngri-Mósa frá Kolkuósi, one of the best breeding mares in Iceland, but other offsprings of of Yngri-Mósa are:

• Gríma frá Kolkuósi (Mother of Týr vom Rappehof, World Champion in T1 and V1 1991)

• Þerna frá Kolkuósi (Þ-breeding line from Hólar and Þokki frá Kýrholti)

• Kristall frá Kolkuósi (winner of B-class at Landsmót 1986)

• Stjarni frá Kolkuósi (Father of Auðna frá Höfða who is mother of Auður, Arður, Asi, etc frá Lundum)
