Venus is a five-gaited mare with excellent temperament and good willingness. She has beautiful colour, good movements and clear gaits. She has always been very positive and eager to please the rider. She is very light on the reins. 

Venus was raised at the horse-breeding farm Hemla in South-Iceland. She has always had professional training: 

• When turning 4 years old, she was started in training at the University of Hólar in North-Iceland by one of the students Hlynur Guðmundsson. She was trained for 10 weeks and graduated with very good result. After that she got a good break for few months. 
• Summer of 2015 she was in training by Stella Sólveig Pálmarsdóttir and Ásmundur Ernir Snorrason at Strandarhöfuð
• She is now in training by Fredrica Fagerlund in Mosfellsbær where she can be tried.

Father (see picture below): Her father is the beautiful black pinto Ás frá Strandarhjáleigu a son of the honor prize stallion Þristur frá Feti

Mother (see picture below): her mother is Nótt frá Hemlu F: Hjálmar frá Vatnsleysu and M: Gleði frá Miðey MF: Suðri frá Holtsmúla. Nótt is from our own breeding and has given us two very nice horses. Nótt is a very good five-gaited mare with good movements and character.
