Frigg is a great looking mare with good temperament and pedigree. She was raised at the horse-breeding farm Hemla in South-Iceland. She has always been an eye-catcher in the field with its long neck, excellent conformation and high movements.

She has amazing temperament, positive spirit, easy to handle (can catch her in big fields), excellent tölt, high movements, very good neck and is very light on the reins. 

Her training started in 2013 and 2014, when she was taken to the stable to prepare her for future training (halter put on, feet taken up, combed all over) and she was very easy to handle and quick to learn.
January - February 2015 she was started in training at Holar University by Edda Rún Guðmundsdóttir and the training went really well. Frigg has good temperament, is easy to handle, is developing quickly and has good gaits.
Summer 2015 she was in training at Strandarhofuð by Ásmundur Ernir Snorrason and Stella Sólveig Pálmarsdóttir, where the emphasis was tölt training and as a result, her trot got temporarily weaker.
Fall 2015 she was in training by Fredrica Fagerlund in Mosfellsbær.
Today she is in training by Kári Steinsson.

Father: she is after the honor price stallion Álfur frá Selfossi (Total: 8,46, including 9,5 for tölt, spirit and form under rider). Álfur has (like his mother and siblings) proven to be an excellent breeding horse and his offprings are known for the high movements, good neck and their spirit. 

Mother: her mother Iðunn frá Miðey has given 2 older brothers who are both seen on this page (Þór frá Hemlu and Baldur frá Hemlu) and both have excellent temperament and high movements. Iðunn was shown in breeding show, but as she decided by herself to start breeding at early age (got pregnant 1 years old and suddenly gave birth to a foal at age of 2 years) she never developed properly.  Iðunn was fivegaited with good movements and excellent temperament.
